Dear Dad,
Walking down the aisle, side by side, has been something that I have looked forward to since I was a child: Dreaming and planning out all the details of my wedding day. The right dress, the right music, the right flowers and the special person walking me to the altar.
To have the man who taught me so much give me away to the person that I love and I want to spend the rest of my life with, is a magical moment.
We’ve come so far, from my first steps, to this walk down the aisle, and our Father Daughter Dance.
You taught me to stand up for myself, to be independent and you made sure that I accepted nothing but the best, and gave my best in return.
Thank you for supporting me through this whole process, not only during the wedding planning, not only during this relationship, but throughout my entire life. I would not be the person I am today without you. You impacted me and molded me. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and I’m glad because my best qualities are the qualities that I share with you.
