It can be hard to plan an amazing wedding day while being unique, classic, and on trend. At Crystal Plaza, we’ve been helping brides and grooms create the perfect day for 100 years. Here’s an easy list of timeless trends to make your wedding day the best it can be.
- Creating an on-trend color scheme can be difficult. Using a color research center, like the Pantone Institute, it can be easy to pick the modern fashionable colors, as well as look into classic colors that pair well. Pantone predicted colors from the upcoming New York Fashion Week, many of which are stylish, timeless and could be paired with their Color of the Year 2017: Greenery.
- Flower crowns have become a fun way to reminisce on the classic times of the 60’s and 70’s. It’s a trend that’s modern and vintage at the same time. Flower crowns can be mature and sophisticated for the young bride but can also be youthful and cute for your flower girl or junior bridesmaid.
- Metallics can be overwhelming in a wedding, but when they’re placed just right they can bring the perfect sparkle and shine to highlight your big day. These play a small part in connection with a color scheme but the amazing thing about metallics, they are considered neutrals. Want bright blue, or Greenery as your accent color? Pair it with some silver, pewter, gold or even rose gold (metallic blush) to add a little shimmer and pizazz.
- Photo booths have become a common occurrence at weddings, and WHY NOT? They’re fun, allow the wedding party and guests alike to make some great memories and create keepsakes for everyone to cherish. In addition to having a photo booth, we think a fun guest book idea is to ask the photo booth attendees to print an extra copy of pictures and have guest sign them and place them in an album (or have them put them in a box so you can scrapbook them later.
These are just some ways to keep your big day classic and stylish. If you have any tips or tricks, we’d love to hear them and share them with our future brides and grooms.
