Just to let the brides know, I was the groom and am leaving this review. From day one of working with Jay and the Crystal Plaza (CP), I knew our wedding would be great.

What I didn’t know is how much more amazing it would on the actual day. We were married this past Saturday, 1/28/12. Everyone has that “party” in their head before it happens…CP produced a party 10x that of which I could even imagine. My family is still getting phone calls about how amazing the food was, gorgeous the place was, how amazing the night was.

I can say without hesitation that Jay helped us with vendors (our band The Rhythm Shop), he navigated us to the best choices through their amazing menu, and helped us create the best flow of events throughout the night.

I honestly cannot say enough about my wedding aside from I am upset it’s over. Now, I am hoping to be a guest at a wedding at Crystal Plaza so that I can enjoy all the food again and venue as a whole. Go see/speak/book now, you will not regret it.

Oh and Leslie the bridal attendant, she’s the most amazing woman ever who makes sure the bride and groom are spot on, not only helping during pictures, but throughout the whole night. CP and staff, A+++++

Just wanted to send a note and say how utterly thrilled we were with every aspect of the affair on Sunday – you guys were tremendous.   Best wedding food ever – greatest service – beautiful help – and a beautiful venue.

Nella was outstanding and the Pumpkin veggie was a special treat as was the Initialed ice sculpture.

Lesley and Rovin were spectacular

  Jason/Fred,Thank you so much for making Macen’s party a success! I cannot even count how many people keep telling me how amazing the food was. Even the custodian, Robert, said that our affair is the best he has seen at the temple, all of which we attribute to the amazing effort of Crystal Plaza.Fred, I hope Tori had a great time.

We should be getting Zane’s bar mitzvah date soon, so we will be in touch again…..

 The measure of true excellence is the ability to perform at the highest levels of professionalism and deliver the highest level of quality under the most challenging of circumstances.  The entire Crystal  Plaza staff demonstrated remarkable calm, confidence and professionalism this past Sunday to ensure that in spite of the aftermath of  the rare October snow storm, downed trees and power outages, Erica and Michoel’s wedding was perfect, absolutely perfect!

 I watched as the staff prepared the room for the party without lights. The entire staff was poised, calm and getting ready for the party…as though it was business as usual. You both were assuring me all was fine-not even a bead of sweat…(although it *was *still cold in the Crystal plaza without heat). I was upset, but your confidence calmed me down…even though I now know that behind the scenes there were Herculean efforts underway to make sure the wedding took place.

 Words cannot express how thankful that we all are. When I think about the whole experience and the series of events that led us to choose the Crystal Plaza, I have to admit that even *I *think that maybe there was some divine intervention!  The truth is, I know you could have cancelled the affair as I have heard many venues did. When I think about it, I get so emotional that I decided to write something rather than call….although I will call as soon as I can pull myself together!

 Put aside the extraordinary situation, my phone has been ringing off the hook. The food, the service, the beauty of the Crystal and of course the spirituality of the wedding made this a remarkable occasion. Everyone has said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. My daughter and son-in-law said that it was everything that they had hoped for….the physical beauty (the place and the food) combined with the spirituality and spirit of all the guests combined to make it an unforgettable occasion.

Even the OWN producers were sobbing at the end of the night. They were moved by the whole experience and the beauty and the warm that was made all the more special by the wonderful staff at the Crystal Plaza

 Shari-Beth and I kidded that we were “the Hillbillies doing  Chabad!” When the Challah was brought out and Erica was carried to the men’s dance floor, I suddenly realized that we didn’t think of that! Obviously, you did…you clearly knew what you were doing  and executed every last detail in spite of us!

 And finally,,,Allan-you kept your promise. I did feel like a guest at my daughter’s wedding!

 Wow! Wow! Wow!. So now…you can count us all as your raving fans!….let us know what we can do to tell this extraordinary story of how you and the entire Crystal Plaza staff demonstrated “true excellence”  under the most difficult of circumstances and made dreams come true for our beloved daughter Erica Chava and our now son-in-law Michoel!
